Recommendation: The check should be carried out 10-15 minutes after the engine has been stopped.
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the oil level indicator from the guide tube.
3. Wipe the indicator with a rag, removing oil from it, and then insert it into the tube until it stops.
4. Remove the indicator. The oil level should be between the marks "MIN" and "MAX", applied to the surface of the indicator. If the level is below the mark "MIN", add oil (see "Lubrication system - oil and oil filter replacement").
