Recommendation. The check should be carried out 10-15 minutes after the engine is stopped
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. We take out the measuring probe from the guide tube (shown on 16 valve engine).
Note. On an 8-valve engine, the dipstick is located differently.
3. Wipe the dipstick with a rag, removing oil from it, and then insert it back into the tube until it stops.
4. We take out the dipstick, the oil level should be on the dipstick within the corrugated zone (on a 16-valve engine).
Note. On an 8-valve engine, the oil level must be between the marks "MIN" And "MAX" on the surface of the probe
If the level is below the grooved area or mark "MIN", adding oil (see below, "Lubrication system - oil and oil filter change").
