The decorative trim is held in place by four rubber couplings placed on the studs of the cylinder head cover and receiver.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Unscrew and remove the oil filler cap.
3. Lift and remove the decorative engine cover together with the rubber couplings.
Tip: To prevent dirt from getting into the engine, replace the oil filler cap.
Note: If one or more couplings remain on the studs, remove them and insert them into the corresponding holes in the cover plate.
Installation
We install the engine cover in the reverse order.
