Pointer (probe) The oil level indicator is located in the middle of the cylinder block behind the cooling system radiator.
You will need:
- engine oil "LUKOIL-Arctic" (5W-30, 5W-40; SG/CD), "YAR-Marka Super" (5W-30, 5W-40; SG/CD), "Novoil Sint" (5W-30; SG/CD), "ESSO ULTRA" (10W-40; SJ/SH/CD), "ESSO UNIFLO" (15W-40; SJ/SH/CD)
- funnel
- clean rag
Attention! Before checking the oil level after a trip, stop the engine and wait 5-10 minutes until the oil drains into the sump.
Attention! Top up with the same brand of oil as used previously.
Attention! The oil level in the crankcase must not exceed the mark "MAX", otherwise, leaks through gaskets and seals, as well as increased oil consumption, are possible.
Attention! Perform the check with the vehicle on a level, level surface.
1. Take out the pointer (probe), wipe it with a clean cloth and reinsert it.
2. Take out the pointer (probe). The oil film level must be between the marks "MIN" And "MAX". If the oil level approaches the mark "MIN" or below it, add oil.
3. Turn the oil filler cap 90°counterclockwise and remove it.
4. Install a funnel in the neck and pour oil into the engine, controlling with a pointer (probe) oil level. Before removing the pointer (probe), wait 2-3 minutes to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase. The oil level must not exceed the mark "MAX".
