To carry out the work you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the additional muffler from the main muffler (see "Muffler - replacement").
3. With a spanner by 17 mm we unscrew the nuts of the two bolts that secure the neutralizer to the flange of the additional muffler, holding the bolts with a wrench of the same size.
Tip: If you cannot remove the nuts, cut the flange mounting bolts with a hacksaw blade.
4. Remove the suspension cushions from the brackets of the additional muffler...
...and remove the additional muffler.
Installation
We install the additional muffler in the reverse order. We replace the damaged suspension cushions of the additional muffler.
