To carry out the work you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Key by 13 mm we unscrew the two tie bolts of the hinge joint and remove the bolts together with the springs.
Tip: If the bolts are difficult to remove, cut them with a hacksaw or cut-off machine.
3. Slightly move the flanges apart. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the metal-graphite sealing ring from its seat.

Installation
We install a new metal-graphite ring in the reverse order.
