Note: The main and additional muffler suspension cushions can be replaced in any order.
To carry out the work you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the muffler suspension cushion (first from the muffler bracket, then from the body bracket).
Note: If you cannot remove the suspension cushion from the brackets, use pliers to bend the bracket tabs.
3. Install the new suspension cushion in the reverse order. Bend the bent bracket tab, securing the cushion from slipping.
4. Similarly, we replace the other two main muffler suspension cushions and two additional muffler suspension cushions.
