To carry out the work you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. With a spanner by 13 mm we unscrew the nuts of the two clamp bolts of the main muffler clamp, holding the bolts with an open-end wrench of the same size.

3. Remove the clamp and take out the metal sealing ring.

Tip: If you can't remove the nuts, cut the clamp bolts with a hacksaw or a cut-off machine.
4. Remove the cushions from the muffler brackets.

5. Remove the muffler from the opening between the bottom of the body and the rear suspension beam.

Installation
Recommendation: When assembling, install a new clamp and sealing ring.
We install the muffler in the reverse order. If necessary, we replace damaged or loose muffler suspension pads.
