The manufacturer recommends that when removing the filter, cut off its rubber supports. In this case, they will have to be replaced with new ones.
You will need a screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «–» battery.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the mass air flow sensor.
3. Loosen the clamp securing the air inlet pipe to the mass air flow sensor housing and remove the pipe.
4. Squeeze out from openings in a body of a head of rubber support and remove the air filter.
5. If it is necessary to replace the filter, remove the mass air flow sensor from it by unscrewing the two mounting bolts.
6. Replace torn or loose rubber filter supports. Cut off the old supports with a knife.
7. Install the filter in the reverse order of removal. Fix the rubber supports in the holes by straightening their edges with a screwdriver.
