You will need: a 10 mm wrench and a screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.
2. Press the locking tab of the wiring harness connector and disconnect the connector from the sensor.

3. Unscrew the sensor mounting bolt…

4. …and remove the sensor from the hole in the oil pump cover tide.

5. Check the resistance of the crankshaft position sensor with an autotester. For a working sensor, it should be within 550–750 Ohms.
6. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
