Removal and installation the mass air flow sensor (VAZ-2115)

The mass air flow sensor (MAF) is installed on the air filter outlet pipe.

You will need a screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.

2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the mass air flow sensor.



3. Loosen the clamp securing the air inlet pipe to the mass air flow sensor…



4. …and disconnect the pipe.

5. Remove the two bolts securing the sensor to the air filter housing…



6. …and remove the sensor together with the seal.



7. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
