You will need a key «at 13».
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «–» battery.
2. Disconnect block 1 of a plait of wires from the gauge 2 of a detonation. Unscrew the fastening nut and remove the sensor from the stud.
3. Attach an autotester connected in the voltage measurement mode to the sensor outputs. Tap the transducer body on a solid, massive object (e.g. hammer) - the voltage must change. If the voltage remains constant, the sensor is defective and must be replaced.
Note. More precisely, the health of the sensor can be checked with the DST-2 diagnostic tool while the engine is running.
4. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
