Coolant level (VAZ-2105)

The coolant level should be 30-40 mm above the "MIN" mark on the translucent body of the tank (Fig. 35).



Check the level and open the cap of the tank to add liquid only on a cold engine. After filling the liquid, the cap must be tightly screwed in, since the expansion tank is under pressure when the engine is running and warmed up.

CAUTION! To avoid burns, do not open the expansion tank cap when the coolant is hot.

In cases where the fluid level is constantly decreasing and you have to top it up frequently, check the tightness of the cooling system and have the fault eliminated at a certified PTO.

ATTENTION! 1. Check the level and open the cap of the tank to add fluid only on a cold engine.

ATTENTION! 2. The use of pure water as a coolant is not allowed.
