Disassembly
1. Disconnect tube 5 (see Fig. Front Brake Caliper Parts) and remove the dust caps 2 from the cylinders.
2. Then, by forcing a stream of compressed air through the brake fluid inlet, push pistons 1 out of the cylinders on caliper 4.
3. Remove the sealing rings 3 from the cylinders.
Assembly
1. Assemble the front wheel brake mechanism in the reverse order of disassembly.
2. Lubricate the sealing rings, pistons and cylinder bore with brake fluid during assembly.
3. After installation, restore the brake fluid level and bleed the brake hydraulic system.
