2. Dry them with compressed air or wipe them with a clean cloth, avoiding contact with mineral oil, kerosene or diesel fuel, which can damage the seals.
Attention! Washing time of sealing rings in isopropyl alcohol is not more than 20 s, followed by blowing with compressed air.
3. The cylinder bore and the working surface of the pistons must be completely clean without rust, scratches or other defects. An increased clearance between the cylinder and the pistons is unacceptable.
4. Replace the seals with new ones each time the cylinder is disassembled, even if they appear to be in good condition.
5. Check the elasticity of the piston spring, the length of which should be:
- under load 34.3±6.9 N (3.5±0.7 kgf) - 36 mm;
- under load 62.2±9.8 N (6.35±1.0 kgf) - 21 mm;
- in the free state - 57.5 mm.
