
2. Remove the brake drum by unscrewing the mounting bolts 1. Insert these bolts into the technological holes 2 and tighten them until the drum is separated.
3. Disconnect from lever 18 (see Fig. Rear wheel brake mechanism) manual brake shoe drive end of the cable, remove the cotter pin, press on finger 21 and remove the lever.
4. Use pliers to disconnect the upper 2 and lower 7 tension springs.

5. Turn the cups of the support struts 17 and remove them together with the struts, springs and lower cups; remove pads 8 and 16 and spacer bar 20.
6. Disconnect the brake fluid supply pipe from the wheel cylinder and plug the inlet holes of the cylinder and pipe.
7. Remove the wheel cylinder.
8. When replacing the brake shield, remove the axle shaft as indicated in subsection 5.4.6.1, and disconnect the parking brake cable by unscrewing the two mounting bolts to the brake shield.
