Checking the axial runout of the brake disc
1 - magnetic stand; 2 - indicator; 3 - brake disc
1. Check the axial play of the brake disc without removing it from the vehicle. The largest allowable runout on the indicator is 0.15 mm.
2. If the runout is greater, turn the disc using tool 67.7141.9500.
3. Then grind it, but the final thickness of the disc should not be less than 9.5 mm.
4. In case of damage or very deep risks, as well as in case of wear, when the thickness of the disc becomes less than 9 mm, replace the disc with a new one.
Attention! It is only necessary to change the brake disc together with the front wheel bearing hub, since its final processing is carried out assembled with the hub.
5. Removal and installation of the hub with brake disc are described in subsection 6.1.5.
