... with a caliper we measure the distance between the cover gasket and the float, which should be 6.5±0.25 mm.
To set this gap, you can use a drill of a suitable diameter.
If necessary, adjust the gap by gently bending or bending the float tongue.
Having deflected the float to the stop from the position in which the fuel level was checked, we check the maximum stroke of the float, which should be 8±0.25 mm.
If necessary, we bend the upper tongue of the float, achieving the desired stroke.
