Adjusting the position of the carburetor throttle valves

We adjust the flaps on the removed carburetor (see Replacing the carburetor).
We turn the throttle drive lever until the upper arm of the first chamber throttle lever touches the lever that limits the opening of the second chamber throttle valve.
In this position, we measure the gap between the valve and the chamber wall, which should be 6±0.25 mm.
If necessary, adjust the gap by bending the upper arm of the first chamber throttle valve axis lever.
By turning the lever, we open the throttle valve of the first chamber completely. The distance between the chamber wall and the valve should be 13±0.1 mm.
We regulate the full opening of the first chamber flap by bending the lower arm of the throttle valve axis lever.
The distance between the second chamber damper and the wall should be 17±0.1 mm. The maximum damper opening is adjusted by changing the length of the pneumatic actuator rod (see Carburetor repair).
