Checking the technical condition of the cardan transmission without disassembling (VAZ-21061)

We clean the shafts from dirt and wipe them. We check the cardan joints for ease and smoothness of fork rotation and for the absence of radial and axial movements. If damage or deformation of at least one of the shafts is detected, it is advisable to replace the cardan transmission as a whole, since its balancing is carried out in an assembled state on a special stand.

The rubber parts of the elastic coupling and elastic support must not have cracks, tears or delamination from the metal.
