The relay and fuse box is installed in the engine compartment, in the compartment in front of the windshield on the left side.
Note: The earlier model relay and fuse box is removed and installed in the same manner as the one described in this manual.
1. Open the hood and remove the cover from the relay and fuse box by pressing the plastic latches.
2. Move the rubber boot and disconnect the upper block with wires from the unit.
3. Unscrew the two nuts securing the block.
4. Remove the unit from the compartment in front of the windshield as far as the wires allow and disconnect the lower pads with wires from it. Mark the pads: this will make the work easier during further installation.
5. Remove the eight screws securing the bottom cover.
6. Use a screwdriver to pry up the bottom cover of the unit.
7. Check the condition of the conductive tracks and the quality of soldering. Eliminate possible defects. If this fails, replace the unit.
8. Install the relay and fuse box in the reverse order of removal. After installation, check the functionality of all consumers.
