1. Under the instrument panel, disconnect the connector with the heater fan motor wires from the wiring harness.
2. Disconnect the electric motor ground wire by unscrewing the left front heater mounting nut. Push the electric motor wires into the engine compartment.
3. Open the hood and remove the two screws securing the fan shroud on both sides.
4. Remove the casing.
5. Remove the two fan mounting screws.
6. Loosen the five mounting screws and remove the air intake grille.
7. Slightly lift and disengage the front fan support by sliding the fan toward you.
8. Rotate the fan 90° and remove it from the compartment in front of the windshield.
The heater fan electric motor is located in the compartment in front of the windshield in the engine compartment.
9. The fan is installed in the reverse order of removal.
