Removal
1. Remove the heater.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws securing the air filter grille of the cabin ventilation system and remove the grille.
3. Disconnect the air supply hose that cools the fan motor. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws that secure the fan motor flange to the heater housing.
4. Remove the electric fan from the heater housing.
Warning: The fan motor rotor and fan impeller are balanced as an assembly when manufactured, so it is not recommended to remove the impeller from the shaft.
Installation
We install the electric fan and the heater itself on the car in the reverse order.
