Car keys (VAZ-2110)

Each car comes with two sets of keys. Each set (Fig. 1) contains two keys: the longer one is for turning on the ignition, the shorter one is for the door locks and trunk lid. The ignition key number is written on the flag of the key head. By cutting off the flag, you can keep the key number secret.



A car equipped with an electronic anti-theft system (immobilizer*) is additionally supplied with 3 code keys: 2 black - working and 1 red - training.

* The immobilizer blocks the engine from starting without first reading the key code, thus providing additional protection for the vehicle from unauthorized use. Remember that the APS system is only an additional barrier to an intruder and does not provide absolute and complete protection for your vehicle from unauthorized use.
