Do not adjust the driver's seat while driving. It may move suddenly, causing you to lose control of the vehicle.
The backrest 7 of the rear seat of cars with a sedan body is divided into two parts by the armrest 15. To use the armrest, turn it and place it on the cushion 6.
The head restraints 8 of the rear seat are adjustable only in height. To adjust or remove the head restraints when the rear seat back is removed or folded down, press the lock lever 12 and, holding it, adjust the height or remove the head restraint 8.
The rear seat is easily removable, which allows in some cases to carry cargo in the trunk, partially passing it into the passenger compartment. To remove the rear seat:
- remove headrests 8;
- pull up the lock loops 13, tilt the backrests 7 forward slightly and disengage the movable loop 10 from the fixed loop 11 on the body 9;
- press the handles of the locks 16 on both sides of the seat cushion 6 and, lifting it slightly, remove it.
The transformable rear seat of hatchback and station wagon cars allows increasing the area of the luggage compartment. Depending on the cargo being transported and the number of passengers, the seat can be fully or partially folded.
On LADA 111, 112 cars and their modifications, before folding the rear seats, make their belts inoperative. To do this, the side passenger belt (see fig. 6) pull it out a short length from the reel and secure its tongue in the lock, and pass the middle passenger's belt through the strap at the top of the backrest and also secure its tongue in the lock.

Unfold the seat with the rear doors open in the following order:
- pull the loops 1 (Fig. 7) and place the cushions 2 in a vertical position. If necessary, move the front seats forward;
- remove the rear seat head restraints, set them to the transport position by inserting them into the holes on the base of cushion 2, which is in a vertical position, and then, applying a slight force to backrest 4 in the rear direction, pull handle 3 of the lock upwards, release backrest 4 and lay it down as shown in the figure.

Lay down the seat back smoothly, avoiding the belt locking mechanism being triggered when the belts are pulled out of their reels.
When transporting large-sized cargo, remove shelf 5.
