The car is designed to transport people and luggage (in the quantity and weight declared by the manufacturer) at ambient temperatures from minus 40°C to plus 45°C on public roads with hard surfaces that meet the requirements of GOST R 50597. If it is necessary to drive on roads with crushed stone surfaces or over potholes, it is necessary to select a mode that will ensure the safety of the protective coatings of the body from damage, crushed stone flying out from under the wheels, sharp impacts of the suspension and strong "twisting" loads on the body.
The vehicle complies with the requirements established in the Russian Federation for product quality and safety indicators. The vehicle's compliance with these requirements has been certified by the relevant authorized bodies of the Russian Federation by issuing a "Vehicle Type Approval", the number of which is indicated on the summary plate of the factory data.
During operation, do not allow damage to the vehicle, including as a result of mechanical, chemical, thermal and other external influences, as well as road traffic accidents, since such damage affects the general technical condition of the vehicle, the safety of its operation, consumer properties and the possibility of use in accordance with its intended purpose within the service life of the vehicle established by the manufacturer.
Please remember that any factory markings, identification tags and stickers on your vehicle's parts and components must be retained until the end of its service life, otherwise the manufacturer (authorized person) reserves the right to refuse to satisfy the owner's demands for repair or replacement of a faulty part or unit.
Conformity to the intended purpose and fulfillment of consumer properties by the vehicle during the service life established by the manufacturer is ensured by a set of measures for storage, operation, care and maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.

Remember that the Federal Law of the Russian Federation "On Road Safety" imposes on you the obligation to maintain your vehicle in good technical condition, in connection with which we remind you of the obligation to comply with the timely and complete performance of all scheduled maintenance work specified in the service book attached to each vehicle, as well as all necessary current repair work.
Maintenance, repair and installation of additional equipment shall be carried out at the enterprises of the manufacturer's service and sales network (MSSN) that perform warranty repairs and maintenance of vehicles in the territory of the Russian Federation under an agreement with the manufacturer (the list of authorized MSSN is provided in Appendix No.1 to the warranty card).
The PSSS uses the technology of car maintenance, repair and recycling developed at JSC AVTOVAZ, and is equipped with all the necessary special equipment and tools. The PSSS has a list of additional equipment approved by JSC AVTOVAZ for installation and specially developed technologies for its installation. To maintain warranty obligations, installation and dismantling of any additional equipment should be carried out at the PSSS with a mandatory note in the service book.
Timely performance of routine and repair work significantly affects the technical condition of the car, ensures the durability and performance characteristics of the car as provided by the design. After completing the maintenance, check that the personnel of the enterprise who carried it out make the appropriate notes in the service book.
When operating and servicing the vehicle, use the materials listed in this manual. Keep in mind that the vehicle's engine with a fuel injection system and a neutralizer is designed to use only unleaded gasoline!
The manufacturer is not responsible for components that fail due to the use of low-quality gasoline.
Replacement or modification of the software or hardware of the ECM controller must be performed on the PSNS with a mandatory note in the "Special Notes" section of the service book. Installation of any additional devices on the vehicle must be performed on the PSNS with a mandatory note in the "Special Notes" section of the service book. Otherwise, AVTOVAZ OJSC is not responsible for any possible consequences that may arise after installation of additional devices.

The manufacturer's warranty obligations do not apply to new vehicles purchased abroad, as well as those imported into the Russian Federation for sale and sold to individuals and legal entities, on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Maintenance and repair of re-imported vehicles are performed by the seller or authorized manufacturer of the PSSS at the expense of the consumer. Distinctive features of a vehicle manufactured in an export version are as follows:
- the vehicle passport (PTS) was issued by the customs authorities of the Russian Federation, it does not contain the details and seal of AVTOVAZ OJSC as the organization that issued the PTS;
- the identification plate installed in the engine compartment is in English;
- warranty card of JSC "AVTOVAZ" is missing;
- there may be other distinctive features related to the national requirements of the importing country.
