To complete the work you will need a piece of wire with a diameter of 1-1.5 mm (or a large paper clip).
It is more convenient to clean the drainage holes in the thresholds in an inspection pit or overpass.
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Apply plastic grease to the lock retainer and its spring.

3. Lubricate the axle of the safety hook with penetrating lubricant.

4. After opening the door, inject penetrating lubricant into the hinges of its hinges. Lubricate the hinges of the other doors of the car in the same way.

5. Lubricate the keyholes of the door locks.

6. Apply plastic lubricant to the working surface of the door stops...

...the spring and hinge of the fuel tank filler flap.

Note: To remove moisture from the internal cavities, drainage holes are made in the lower parts of the doors and thresholds. Depending on the year of manufacture of the car, their number may vary.
7. We clean the drainage holes in the doors with wire...
