Checking the gap between the rail stop and the nut: 1 - punch
Set the rail to the middle position, which is determined by the size (87±0,25) mm from the pinion axis to the rack end. Using a special tool, load the rail with a force P = (500±20) H[ (51±2) kgf] (pic. 7.4) at a distance of 84 mm from the pinion axis towards the rack stop.
The maximum allowable gap between stop and nut is 0.2 mm. The maximum allowable movement X of the rail, measured through the relative movement of the pressure punch 1, must not exceed 0.16 mm (approximately to a set of statistical data).
