Removal and installation the ignition module (VAZ-2115)

You will need: a 13 mm wrench and a screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the "–" terminal of the battery.

2. Disconnect the high-voltage wires from the ignition module.



3. Press the lock upward and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the ignition module.



4. Unscrew the three nuts securing the ignition module to the bracket…



5. …and remove the module.





6. Install the ignition module in the reverse order of removal.

Note: The numbers of the corresponding cylinders are marked on the ignition module, next to the high-voltage terminals.

There are also marks with cylinder numbers on both sides of the high-voltage wires.
