Disconnect the wire from the terminal "–" battery (when changing the signal).
The car uses a sound signal of the type C-304 or C-305 of a non-separable design. The signal is mounted on a bracket to the radiator frame panel. A defective signal must be replaced.
The adjusting screw is located on the back of the horn housing (from the side of the bracket to the body).
1. To adjust the signal, ask the assistant to press the button on the steering wheel.
2. By turning the adjusting screw, achieve the desired sound of the signal (volume and tone). If the volume of the signal cannot be adjusted, clean the contacts at the wire connections or replace the horn.
3. Disconnect the wire lugs from the horn leads.
4. Loosen the horn bracket nut and remove the horn from the vehicle. Install the signal in the reverse order of removal and adjust its operation.
