Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a slotted screwdriver, remove the trunk door lock trim.

3. With a socket wrench by 8 mm we unscrew the two nuts securing the guide and the lock.

4. Remove the lock guide from the studs.

5. Remove the lock together with the cylinder.

6. To remove the luggage compartment door handle, use a socket wrench by 8 mm using a deep socket, unscrew the two nuts securing the handle.

7. Remove the trunk door handle. There is a rubber gasket between the handle and the door.

Installation
1. Clean off dirt and lubricate the rubbing surfaces with aerosol or plastic lubricant.
2. Install the cylinder with the lock and guide without completely tightening the nuts that secure them.
3. We adjust the position of the lock by moving it with the nuts loosened, achieving a tight closure of the luggage compartment door with uniform gaps around the perimeter. We tighten the nuts and install the lock cover.
