Gas spring for the tailgate — removal and installation (VAZ-2104)

Removal

1. We prepare the car for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").

2. Key by 13 mm we unscrew the hinge of the lower mount of the gas spring to the body bracket.



3. Similarly, unscrew the upper mount hinge and remove the spring.

Installation

Installation of the gas spring is performed in the reverse order.
