Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for operations (see "Preparing a car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a slotted screwdriver, pry up the nameplate and remove it.

3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the trim to the body.

4. Turn the cover over and disconnect the wire ends from the license plate lights.

5. Using a slotted screwdriver, pry up the trim of the luggage compartment door and remove the trim.

6. Disconnect the wire blocks from the terminals of the glass heating thread.
7. Disconnect the tube from the windshield washer nozzle (for clarity, shown on a removed injector).

8. Disconnect connector A of the gearmotor wiring harness from connector B and, having marked the location of the wire tips in connector B, remove them from the connector.

9. Remove the motor-reducer casing (see "Motor-reducer of the glass wiper of the trunk door of the VAZ-2104 car - removal and installation").
10. Disconnect the additional brake light wire connectors.

11. Having disconnected the wire holders, we remove the rubber washers from the upper holes in the inner panel of the luggage compartment door on the left and right sides and pull out the wire harnesses (see "Trunk lid - removal and installation").
12. Unscrew the upper mounting hinges and disconnect the springs from the door hinges (see "Gas spring for tailgate - removal and installation").
13. While holding the luggage compartment door, use the key at 13 mwe unscrew the two nuts that secure it to the body hinges.

14. Similarly, unscrew the two fastening nuts on the other side and remove the door.
Installation
1. The door is installed in reverse order.
2. We achieve a tight closing of the luggage compartment door by adjusting the position of the door lock (see below "Tailgate lock and cylinder - removal and installation").
3. If necessary, adjust the position of the lock retainer by loosening it with a socket wrench by 10 mm two bolts for fastening the retainer. By moving the retainer, we achieve a tight closure of the door with uniform gaps around the perimeter. We tighten the bolts.
