Headlight relay (VAZ-21051)

To turn on the headlights, relays P5 and P6 are used (see subsection 12.10) type 113. 3747, installed in the mounting block. The same relays are used to turn on the rear window heating.

The relay turn-on voltage at a temperature of (23±5)°C is no more than 8 V, and the winding resistance is (85±8.5) Ohm at 200°C.

Instead of relay 113.3747, you can use new interchangeable relays of the 90.3747-11 type, which have a plastic cover and slightly larger dimensions. And instead of relay 113.3747-10, which have a bracket for fastening on the cover, you can use relay 90.3747-10 (with bracket). The characteristics of the new relays are the same as those of relay type 113.3747.

Relays of type 902.3747-11 are also produced (without bracket) and 902.3747-10 (with bracket). These relays are mainly used on cars with fuel injection systems and differ by the addition of a noise suppression resistor, which is connected in parallel to the relay winding. The resistance between terminals "85" and "86" of these relays is (72±8) Ohm. These relays can also be used instead of relay type 113.3747.
