Filling the cooling system with liquid (VAZ-21051)

Refueling is carried out when changing the coolant or after engine repair.

Perform refueling operations in the following order.

1. Remove the plugs from the radiator and expansion tank and open the heater tap

2. Pour coolant into the radiator and then into the expansion tank, having first installed the radiator cap. Close the expansion tank with the cap

3. Start the engine and let it idle for 1-2 minutes to remove air pockets.

4. After the engine has cooled down, check the coolant level. If the level is below normal and there are no signs of leakage in the cooling system, then top up the liquid.
