Engine ventilation scheme
A and B - operation of the carburetor spool device at a low crankshaft speed (A) and at high (IN);
1 - drain pipe of the oil separator; 2 - oil separator; 3 - breather cover; 4 – gas suction hose; 5 - flame arrester; 6 - exhaust manifold; 7 - filter element of the air filter; 8 - a hose for venting gases into the throttle space of the carburetor; 9 - axis of the throttle valve of the primary chamber; 10 - spool; 11 - spool groove; 12 - calibrated hole
For flushing, disconnect the ventilation hoses 4 and 8 from the nozzles, remove the flame arrester 5 from the hose 4, remove the breather cover 3 and wash them with gasoline or kerosene.
It is also necessary to flush the spool device of the carburetor, the cavities and nozzles of the air filter through which the exhausted gases pass.
