
Using a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the bolt of the lower fastening of the starter heat shield (it is located in a hard to reach place)...

...and we take it out.

We remove the hose from the warm air intake and with a 13 mm wrench we unscrew first one nut of the upper shield mount, and then the second one (the nut is located under the air intake).

We remove the shield.

Using a 13 mm spanner, unscrew the two upper bolts securing the starter to the clutch housing...

...and from underneath the car, using a 13 mm head, unscrew the lower mounting bolt.

Having moved the starter forward, we disconnect the block from the terminal of the traction relay (for clarity, the cooling system hose has been removed).

Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the nut securing the wire connecting the starter traction relay to the positive terminal of the battery.

We take out the starter upwards between the receiving pipe and the clutch housing.
We install the new starter in the reverse order of removal. When connecting the wires, we make sure that the power block of the traction relay is securely connected, since it is very difficult to connect a wire that has come off the terminal on the installed starter.
