You will need: a piece of hard wire with a diameter of 3 mm or a thin screwdriver.
Frequency: Clean the drain holes every 15,000 km. When operating the vehicle on country roads and dirt roads, carry out this operation more often.
During operation, moisture accumulates in the cavities of thresholds and doors, causing corrosion. Drainage holes at the bottom of sills and doors get clogged with dirt, preventing moisture from draining, so clean them regularly.
Each threshold has four drainage holes, each door has two.
1. Insert a piece of wire or a screwdriver into the sill drain hole and remove any accumulated dirt.
2. Clean out the drain holes in the doors in the same way.
