Removal
1. Prepare the car for repair work.
2. Turn off the outside lighting.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the fog light trim.
4. Remove the fog light trim.
5. Remove the headlight from the bumper niche.
6. Disconnect the headlight wire connector.
7. To replace the lamp, remove the dirt-protective cover.
8. Disconnect the ground wire tip (4) from the terminal (1), and the wire connector (3) from the lamp wire tip (2).
9. Having released the spring retainer (1), remove the lamp.
Installation
Warning. Do not touch the halogen lamp bulbs with your fingers. Work in clean cotton gloves without rubber coating. Grease marks from your fingers left on the halogen lamp bulb will shorten its service life several times. After accidentally touching the halogen lamp bulb with your fingers, wipe the bulb with a clean cloth moistened with alcohol.
We install the lamp and fog lamp in the reverse order. In this case, before connecting the wire tips, we make sure that the lamp is securely fixed in the hole of the fog lamp reflector.
