Adjustment
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Place a ruler or tape measure near the pedal. Press the pedal with your hand and lower it down until you feel an increase in resistance to the pedal movement. Repeat the operation several times to increase the accuracy of the measurement.

If the pedal stroke is greater or less than the required value, adjust the pedal stroke (see "Brake pedal free play - adjustment").
