Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair"). Similarly, we disconnect the terminal from the positive terminal of the battery.
3. With a socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the two nuts of the upper battery mount (2), remove the upper clamping bar and both mounting studs.
With a socket wrench by 13 mm using an extension, unscrew the nut of the lower battery mount (1) and remove the lower pressure plate.
4. Remove the battery from the car.
Installation
We install the battery in the reverse order.
Warning! The battery terminals are made differently (the positive terminal diameter is larger). Reversing the polarity when connecting the battery will result in failure of the vehicle's electronic equipment.
