Side direction indicators — bulb removal and replacement (VAZ-2112)

Removal

1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").

2. Move the side turn signal forward together with the sealing gasket.



3. Pulling back the rear part, remove the side turn signal together with the rubber protective cover from the opening in the front wing.



4. Remove the lamp holder together with the rubber protective cover from the indicator housing.

5. Remove the faulty lamp from the socket.

Note. A faulty lamp must be replaced with a similar one. If the indicator is colorless, then the A12-5-3 (WY5W) lamp with an orange bulb should be installed

Installation

1. Install the new lamp and assemble the turn signal in the reverse order.

2. Insert the pointer into the hole in the front wing, pressing the rear part of the pointer.

3. Press on the front part of the flashlight housing until the spring lock snaps into place.
