Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the inner trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Trunk door trim - removal and installation").
3. Remove the outer decorative trim of the luggage compartment door (see "Decorative trim for the luggage compartment door - removal and installation").
4. Disconnect the wiring harness from the light.
5. Hold the flashlight housing from the outside with a socket wrench by 8 mm using a deep socket, unscrew the two nuts securing the light.
6. Remove the lantern.
Installation
We install the inner part of the rear light in the reverse order.
