Coolant Pump — Replacement (VAZ-2114)

Removal

1. Drain the coolant (see "Coolant - replacement").

2. Remove the timing belt (see "Timing Belt - Replacement").

3. With a socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the four bolts (1 and 3) and one nut (2) securing the rear belt cover.



4. Remove the rear timing belt cover.



5. If necessary, using a screwdriver, remove the pump from the cylinder block.

6. Remove the gasket.

Installation

We install the pump and the lower belt cover in the reverse order, replacing the pump gasket with a new one.
