Removal
1. Partially drain the coolant (see "Coolant - replacement"), or use a bulb to remove the coolant from the tank.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the coolant level sensor (see "Low Coolant Expansion Tank Sensor - Checking and Replacing").
3. Key by 10 mm unscrew the clamping bolt of the adsorber mounting bracket. Remove the adsorber from the bracket and, without disconnecting the hoses from it, put it aside.
4. Using pliers, loosen the clamp and disconnect the engine radiator steam outlet hose from the tank.
5. After loosening the clamp, disconnect the expansion tank hose from the branch pipe.
6. Disconnect the tank mounting belt.
7. Remove the expansion tank.
Installation
1. Install the tank in reverse order.
2. Fill the engine cooling system with liquid through the expansion tank (see "Coolant - replacement"), after which we make sure that there is no fluid leakage at the joints. If necessary, tighten the hose clamps.
3. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes at a crankshaft speed of 2000-3000 rpm to remove air from the cooling system.
4. Turn off the engine and check the coolant level in the expansion tank. If necessary, top up the coolant level in the tank to the norm.
