Tip: One of the reasons for low fuel pressure in the fuel rail may be a dirty fuel module mesh filter.
Removal
1. Remove the fuel module (see "Fuel module engine 2111 (1.5i) - removal and installation").
2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, carefully pry up the mesh filter.

3. Remove the mesh filter.

4. Remove dirt deposits from the fuel module intake chamber and wash the housing in acetone.
5. Wash the mesh filter in acetone and blow it out with compressed air (from a compressor or foot pump).
Recommendation: If the mesh filter is very dirty and cannot be cleaned, replace it.
Installation
We install the mesh filter in the reverse order of removal (for more details, see. "Fuel module engine 11183 (1.6i) - cleaning the mesh filter").
