Fuel module engine 2111 (1.5i) — replacement of fuel pump (VAZ-2114)

Advice: In case of fuel pump failure, we recommend replacing the fuel module as a whole, as the pump replacement operation requires practical skills and accuracy (fuel module components may be damaged).

To perform the operation you will need: a hair dryer (technical) or hot water.

Removal

1. Remove the fuel module (see "Fuel module engine 2111 (1.5i) - removal and installation").

2. Remove the mesh filter from the pump pipe (see "Fuel module of engine 2111 (1.5i) - cleaning of mesh filter").

3. Using pliers, remove the locking pin from the guide hole.



4. Remove the pump casing from the fuel module cover guides.

5. Using a slotted screwdriver, release the three fasteners and remove the fuel pump housing cover.





6. Remove the fuel pump from the casing.



7. Hair dryer (or pouring boiling water over it) we heat up the end of the corrugated tube placed on the fuel pump branch pipe and disconnect the corrugated tube from the pump branch pipe (for more details, see. "Fuel module engine 11183 (1.6i) - fuel pump replacement").

Installation

We install the fuel pump in the reverse order.
