Disassembled clutch and brake pedals: 1 - the axis of the pedals; 2 - axle bushings; 3 – retraction spring of the clutch pedal; 4 - retraction spring of the brake pedal; 5 - locking bracket; 6 – brake pedal; 7 - remote bushing; 8 - clutch pedal
If the clutch or brake pedals (pic. 5.6) a large backlash appeared, which means that the pedal axle bushings are worn out, they must be replaced.
Note. If necessary, also replace broken or stretched pedal return springs.
You will need: screwdriver, pliers.
1. Remove the retaining clip from the clutch pedal pin.
2. Disconnect the tip of the cable from the clutch pedal.
3. Disconnect the clutch pedal return spring from the bracket.
4. Remove the retaining clip from the brake pedal pin.
5. Remove the brake pedal pin.
6. Disconnect the brake pedal return spring from the bracket.
7. Remove the retaining clip from the pedal axle.
8. Remove the pedal axle from the bracket holes..
9.... and remove the brake pedal with the spacer from the axle.
10. Completely remove the axle from the bracket together with the clutch pedal. Remove the pedal from the axle and remove the bushings.
11. Install the pedals in the reverse order, having previously lubricated the rubbing parts with Litol-24 or LSTs-15 grease.
