1. Open the rear door. Bend back the wire harness holder on the right side of the car body.

2. Disconnect the wire ends from the rear door glass heating element contacts.

3. Label the wires and the connector block of the windshield wiper motor.

4. Disconnect the wire ends from the connector block. Remove the wire harness from the door frame.

5. Remove the rear door seal (in places where door hinges are installed), holding the back door.

6. Remove the two headliner retaining clips to gain access to the rear door hinge nuts.

7. Trace the outline of the rear door hinges if the door is not being removed for replacement.

8. Remove the rear door window washer tube from the connector.

9. Loosen the two ball joints of the rear door gas-filled struts from the door brackets by holding the door or placing a support underneath it.

10. Unscrew the two nuts securing the hinge to the body studs. Repeat the operation for the other rear door hinge. Remove the rear door from the vehicle.

11. Install the rear door in the reverse order of removal. Before finally tightening the nuts securing the hinges to the body, close the door and adjust its position so that the gaps in the opening along the entire perimeter are the same. Then carefully open the door and finally tighten the nuts securing the hinges.
