Replacing the rear door lock (VAZ-11113)

You will need keys "8" and "10".



1. Draw the outline of the rear door lock and...



2....unscrew the two nuts securing the lock housing and protective screen to the rear door studs.



3. Remove the protective screen and...



4....remove the lock from the rear door.





5. Install the lock in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the retainer mounting bolts finally after aligning the lock along the outlined contours. Check the reliability of locking and ease of opening the rear door.



6. To replace the lock retainer, outline its contours and...



7....unscrew the two bolts securing the retainer.




8. Remove the lock retainer and adjusting plates.



9. Install the lock retainer in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the retainer mounting bolts finally after aligning the retainer along the outlined contours. Check the reliability of locking and ease of opening the rear door.
